The Writer's Double-Edged Sword Speechless. Surely no one in the history of mankind had felt what she was feeling, and she thought herself too uncreative and uninventive to create such a word to express it.The Writer's Double-Edged Sword by Melissa-Dean
“But aren’t there words?” a voice in her head questioned softly.
“No, not this time,” she replied. This time was different. “This time” was always different.
“There are,” the voice asserted politely. Just that light disagreement caused her hands to start shaking.
“The words I have won’t suffice. I don’t know the right ones,” she stated timidly, her own voice dying.
“Say the ones you know, say it how you know it,” the voice advised gently.
Origin of StarsOnce upon a time, there was a land full of the plants and the animals. It was beautiful and happy and every living creature had its place there. The Sun and the Moon looked down at it and gave light to these beings. Once, both of them met on the sky when the Sun was getting down and the Moon was rising up.Origin of Stars by scarlette13
Moon complained to his friend: "You shine on the country when everyone is up and you can look down on them. When I shine, my light is too weak and everything is asleep. I´m bored and lonely and I want to share a bit of your light."
But the Sun was selfish and it didn´t want to share its light. Instead, it visited the Rainbow and asked her for advice. The Rainbow came with an idea.
"If the Moon feels lonely, you should give him company, which would never leave him at night. I spend my time bathing in the rivers and lakes, I can give you some shining stones which I found there." And thus the Sun threw the shining stones from the Rainbow on the sky. But their gli

warm sand from the memory of a day,
I avert my eyes in time to see
chevron wings of gulls at my feet
that follow the shoreline dunes
which I contemplate in the shrouded
blood mist of a moon eclipsed.
Living is not for reasons that used to be.
To mourn a moment lost,
of truth not fully realized.
Then my thoughts return to the gulls.
How quickly they pass overhead,
now scattered far out to sea.

Getting Your Art Seen: Being FeaturedCommunity Week
You may remember that JenFruzz previously wrote an article on doing features of your fellow deviants and their art, letting people know how to become involved in the community. And while featuring others will bring people to your profile as they look through your other offerings to see what kind of art you make, you might wonder how you can go about getting yourself featured.
There is no shame in plugging the works you're most proud of. You plug them to your friends, and you have no qualms asking people to view your work when you're posting it and submitting it to groups. Featuring yourself is an option for getting your works noticed! But it's only effective if you're bringing other people over to view your work, right?
There is more than one way to go about this.
